There is a very keen difference between the two. It is just that our mishappenings stay with us, but when something happens to them, it becomes a national and sometimes a global concern.
I think it has a beauty of its own. If your words or actions are so powerful that they can make the world think, you are powerful.
The Journalist & The Incidents
Helia Ebrahimi has been a victim or, rather I should say, a survivor of a bully. Yes, It was a cab driver, and he took it too far.
So, Helia booked a cab and realized that the heater wasn’t working, and she told the driver about it.
But he couldn’t control his temper and started driving. He wasn’t taking her to the location but somewhere else.
Helia started telling him to stop the cab. At some point, he did stop the car. Helia got out and turned over to take a picture of him so she could file a complaint against him.
But the driver hit her and ran. It caused some major injuries to the journalist, but she managed to take care of herself.
Eventually, the driver was found, and he was presented in court. I must say, Helia is a brave woman. She elaborated on everything to the Judge.
The Jury supported her and advised the driver to be more tolerant and patient. The later judgments weren’t disclosed.
Another incident that took place raises a question about our security as well. Helia’s money was stolen from her bank account. A case of bank fraud.
She also added that the rise in bank fraud cases surprised her.

I think she is doing a great thing. We don’t talk about social issues socially, and this is one of the most prominent causes behind the rising crime rate.
